One of the most common issues in France is the forced succession laws. Get on the wrong side of them, and they can cause all sorts of inheritance problems. Our knowledge of double taxation agreements is also crucial here. These agreements between the UK and other countries are designed to protect you against paying tax twice on the same income – which we assume you would like to avoid!
